About First Track Primary Care
Medical Practice
Our practice is a membership based Direct Primary Care (DPC) run by APRN (Nurse Practitioner), Kyle Wardle. This model is appealing to patients who: want more personalized attention, value easy communication with their clinician, prefer predictable costs, and want to emphasize prevention and wellness.
Where the Path Begins
In the woods and on the slopes, the "First Track" is out ahead of everyone else. It’s quiet, it’s intentional, and it’s laid before the noise of the crowd arrives.
Being a snowboarder and mountain biker I eagerly wait for those first morning runs on the mountain. To stay upright and moving fast, you have to look down-trail. You have to anticipate the roots, the rocks, and the turns before you reach them.
I believe Primary Care should work exactly the same way.
Why First Track?
-
Partnership for the long haul.
-
Direct Access: No middleman. No waiting weeks for an appointment. When you need to talk about your health, you talk to me—directly.
-
Proactive Vision: We work together to not simply focus on identifying and improving health problems, but to also promote wellness and longevity.
-
The best way to provide comprehensive and compassionate healthcare to our members is through a long-term therapeutic relationship. That is how Primary Care is supposed to function.
-
Local Roots: This isn't a corporate branch. This is a local practice built by a local family who shares your dirt, your weather, and your commitment to the South County, Rhode Island community.

Can I use my HSA/FSA?
In many cases, yes. Recent updates often allow HSA funds to be used for DPC memberships. We recommend checking with your HSA/FSA plan and tax professional to maximize your benefits.
What if I have insurance?
Most of our members keep a high-deductible plan for emergencies or hospitalizations, while using First Track for 90% of their day-to-day needs. It’s the best of both worlds: protection for the 'what ifs' and premium care for the 'right nows'.
